Position OverviewMarklund in Bloomingdale is hiring a Full-Time School Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide comprehensive health services at the Marklund Day School.
LocationBloomingdale, IL
Key Details- Hours:
8 am – 4 pm, Monday–Friday - Salary: $29.25–$34.00 /hr for LPN; $31.25–$36.00 /hr for RN, based on qualifications and experience

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational, and therapy services to individuals with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs.
Responsibilities- Administers medications
- Tube feedings and treatments as prescribed
- Prepare annual health history as needed for students
- Attendance at student IDT and IEP meetings as needed
- Complete daily documentation as required
- Registered Nurse (BSN), current on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry
- Possess current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers
- Proficient First Aid skills
- Idph certification to perform annual vision screening preferred
- Prior nursing experience in a school setting desired
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and meet its functional and environmental requirements
