Summary: Abrasive Form is a world leader in high precision Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) machining. We manufacture turbine blades and vanes for many of the largest gas turbine manufacturers and militaries around the world. We use high precision CNC milling, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and 3 and 5‑axis creep feed and CBN grinding.
A successful candidate will be a self‑starter, committed to safety for self and the team, hungry to learn and make improvement, a high standard for quality and process compliance, and a team player.
2nd Shift receives 8% shift pay and works 2:30pm-11:00pm, Monday through Friday work schedule. Must train on 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm for 2 weeks. Now offering $1,500 Sign on bonus!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Using a motorized cylindrical brush, operator smooths edges of part according to customer specifications.
- Insert radius in certain parts using қамтамасыз a grinding wheel.
- Ensure parts are within the defined specifications to meet quality standards.
- Detailed quality assurance review of work on a continuous basis taking full ownership of the part operation assigned. Appropriately label parts which do not meet quality standards.
- Complete a daily timecard to accurately reflect the amount of time per job activity.
- Review operational processes and make suggestions for process improvements in production, quality and company performance.
- Proactively complete daily asset care requirements and subsequently elevate as needed maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor and maintenance team using established maintenance ticket process.
