Sort Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Sorts and reworks rejected parts.
• Responsible for inventory control.
• Assists sort supervisor with day-to-day operations of the sort department.
• Visual inspection of parts to ensure quality.
• Inspect parts with pin gauge.
• Update inventory system.
• Act as leader of the department and assists other sort workers when needed.
• Clean work area.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to enter information into Vantage computer system.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Fine finger dexterity.
• Ability to print basket tickets.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours per shift.
• Read gages and blueprints.
• Safety minded at all times.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Must be able to read and understand basic English and Spanish.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers.
