Description

The Clinical Operations Coordinator, RN supports Bone Health Bloomingdale/Endocrinology Sycamore. The role supervises daily clinical operations, staff, and schedules, ensuring quality patient care and efficient practice functions.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct office clinical support staff, manage workload and prioritization.
  • Conduct interviewing, hiring, training, discipline, dismissals, and performance appraisals.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day clinical operations within budget guidelines.
  • Assist with provider schedule templates and optimize patient care hours for productivity.
  • Schedule staff and allocate resources to maximize patient access, provider productivity, and staff efficiency.
  • Provide front‑line communication, feedback on clinical workflow, quality, and productivity.
  • Deliver service excellence and perform service recovery when necessary.
  • Manage medical surgical supplies within budget.
  • Ensure accuracy of data collection, entry, and compliance monitoring.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings in coordination practice leadership.
  • Attend and actively participate in leadership meetings.
  • Maintain patient dignity and confidentiality at all times.
Additional Functions
  • Review and approve automated time reports for accuracy.
  • Develop tools to support staff and enhance efficiency.
  • Provide input into staff performance reviews; offer coaching and mentoring as needed.
  • Monitor daily transaction activity for compliance.
  • Resolve complex or critical patient, staff, or customer situations with managerial guidance.
  • Implement and maintain new policies and procedures created by RMG or department leadership.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
    Current state licensure or certification in a clinical field.
  • BSN or degree completion within two (2) years of hire.
  • Licensed registered nurse.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience.
  • Basic Life Support Certification from an American Heart Association accredited source.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
  • Two (2) years of experience in an ambulatory clinic practice setting.
  • Supervisory experience.
