Overview
West suburban manufacturer of precision turned parts is seeking a part-time (30-35 hours per week) Accounting Assistant with at least five (5) years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in a computerized environment.
Responsibilities- Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and cash disbursements
- Chart of accounts, journal entries, general ledger, P&L
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Back up receptionist
Part-time
Required Skills/Experience- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer services skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work with little or no supervision as well as be a team player
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel and Word)
- Epicor/Kinetic experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience in manufacturing environment required
