Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our Loenbro team. This position will be responsible for applying paint and other types of coatings on manufactured goods and structures by using rollers, brushes, and sprayers. This job is a multi-skilled position and requires a keen eye for detail and physical dexterity.

Job Duties:

  • Mix and thin paint or other coatings to specified color and consistency according to customer requests.
  • Regulate controls on equipment and paint booth to cure and dry paint or other coatings.
  • Operate lifting and moving devises to move materials and equipment to access areas to be painted.
  • Rack work pieces on skids, inspect, mark, and transfer finished products to staging / shipping areas.
  • Responsible for cleanliness of paint booth, paint guns, spraying equipment and replacement of screens and filters.
  • Maintain records of paint issued and inventory of supplies on hand.
  • Initiate and maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas.
  • Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and practices safe work habits.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills/

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience as a painter in an industrial environment preferred.
  • Previous experience in operating material handling equipment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures, outside majority of the time.
  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.
  • Agree to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company and safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and people skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl on a regular basis.
  • If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability are required. All drivers are subject to DMV background records search.
  • Health Insurance – Up to 80% of the Employee portion paid after 60 days waiting period.
