We are growing and we have an exciting new opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Bloomfield, NM!

The HR Generalist supports day-to-day human resources operations and assists with employee lifecycle processes including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee records, and HR compliance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assist with posting job openings and coordinating interviews
  • Prepare onboarding documentation
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure completion of onboarding requirements
Employee Records & HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate employee files
  • Process employee status changes (new hires, terminations, promotions)
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures
Benefits & Payroll Support
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and general benefits questions
  • Support payroll processing by tracking time-off, new hires, and changes
  • Coordinate with payroll and benefits vendors as needed
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Support HR Director with employee relations matters and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Assist with audits, reports, and HR metrics
Training & Engagement
  • Help coordinate training sessions and employee development programs
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or in progress)
  • 0–2 years of HR or administrative experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Basic knowledge of HR principles and employment practices
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
