* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food handling and sanitation protocols.
* Restock shelves, organize displays, and ensure proper labeling of products.
* Uphold food safety standards according to health regulations and company policies.
* Clean work areas as needed to ensure a clean environment.
* Upsell products by suggesting additional items or promotions to enhance customer experience and sales.
** Experience
* ** Prior experience in food service, deli operations, or retail grocery environments is preferred.
* Familiarity with food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
* Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management.
* Previous experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus.
* Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, bussing, and food handling ensures compliance with safety protocols.
