Join our team as a Shortage Control Associate and contribute to a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Review store entrances, exits, and high‑risk areas to deter theft and shoplifting.
• Engage with customers and associates with confidence, greeting, eye contact, and a friendly smile.
• Maintain a professional appearance, vigilant posture, and radio/earpiece presence at all times.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty promptly.
• Conduct bag and package checks for associates to ensure adherence to safety and security standards.
• Provide training support and role‑model safety for shortage reduction programs.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, retail, asset protection, loss prevention, or operations.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods while visually monitoring the store environment.
• Confidentiality, business trend analysis, and strong communication skills.
• Positive demeanor, strong posture, and energetic greeting approach.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with disciplined decision making.

(~$16.94 per hour) Competitive wage, flexible hours, and an associate discount. Part‑time associates eligible for Burlington benefits including medical coverage, 401(k), paid time off (up to 4 hrs after one year), up to 8 paid holidays, and paid freue time in accordance with applicable law.
