Charge Nurse RN - 1st shift

• 2 nd shift: +$2.00/hr.
• 3 rd shift: +$4.00/hr.

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Adhere to current resident care plans on all residents under his/her care.
• Assess each resident daily to evaluate resident needs. Abide by resident rights.
• Follow physician’ orders.
• Assume primary responsibility for complete nursing care, treatments, dressings and other physician orders.
• Transcribe physician’s orders promptly and accurately.
• Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness.
• Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
• Must be able to communicate effectively to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations.
• Maintain a liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for the residents’ needs.
• Must be familiar with drug actions and interactions.
• Attend and participates in continuing educational programs.
