Job Description
CoWorx Staffing is currently hiring for Electrical Technicians for a client located in Bloomfield, CT!
This is a great opportunity to gain more experience in the Electrical field within a manufacturing environment. The hours are 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, pay is $23/hr. + based off previous experience.
Responsibilities- Check all work orders, work instructions and job files for accuracy and ensure jobs are sent on time.
- Assemble jobs which may include layouts, drilling, tapping, cutting, punching out boxes, securing components, and wiring assemblies.
- Build complex electrical cable assemblies including proper crimping, soldering and wire stripping preparation.
- Inspect and test all jobs to ensure all components are functioning correctly.
- Troubleshoot and correct non‑conforming assemblies or builds which may include energizing and utilizing volts meter.
- Create necessary documentation for each job, including taking photographs of job and completing all paperwork.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 working environment.
- Possess IPC‑A‑620 Specialist certification.
- Possess IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001 and IPC‑7711 Hand soldering certification.
- Must have basic math and measuring skills.
- Must have experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Must have experience in electrical control and power distribution.
- Must be able to read electrical prints and schematics.
