Hire Resolve is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Workshop Manager for our client based in Bloemfontein, Free State. As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the workshop, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring efficient and effective workflow. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of workshop management processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of technicians and administrative staffManage technicians work load, performance and work qualityPerform maintenance on plant as requiredStock management of critical sparesManage control and standard of workshop equipment and housekeepingPlanning and implementation of preventative maintenance schedulesImplement and maintain health and safety procedures & ISO quality requirementsInitiate cost and manage critical improvement projects across all operational areasManage repairs and maintenance budgetRequirements:
Qualified Diesel Mechanic with 10 years experience on construction plant and equipmentAt least 5 years proven experience as a Workshop Manager or similar roleDemonstrated leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving abilitiesSound knowledge of workshop management processes and proceduresAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projectsKnowledge of health and safety regulationsProficient in MS OfficeValid driver’s licenseBenefits:
