Tax Administrator

Overview

A reputable accounting and auditing firm is seeking a Tax Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of tax legislation, excellent attention to detail, and experience in managing tax submissions and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting tax returns, maintaining client tax records, and assisting with SARS queries.

• Valid driver's license
• Own vehicle
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Minimum 2 years  experience in a similar role
• Proficient in MS Office, Xero, Sage One and SARS E-filing

• Provisional and final income tax calculations
• E-filing Provisional and final income tax submissions for individuals, trusts, and companies
• SARS enquiries
• SARS requests for corrections
• Coordinate SARS audit supplementary documentation requests
• SARS disputes against assessments and penalties
• Voluntary disclosure programs
• Dividend tax submission
• Security transfer tax submissions
• VAT calculations and submissions
• Tax clearances and foreign tax clearance
• Individual and Trust income tax and provisional tax registrations
• Registered representative's registrations for trusts and companies
• Transfer of e-filing profiles
• VAT registrations
• Perform any other tasks given through by management
