Production Leader

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Production Lead to join a thriving engineering/manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in a senior production or team leader role who’s ready to take the next step toward Production Manager.

You’ll be at the heart of production, leading a small team, planning workflow, and ensuring everything runs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production activities (experience with MS Project or similar preferred)

* Lead, motivate, and manage a hands-on production team

* Act as the bridge between production, quality, and management

* Troubleshoot day-to-day production challenges and implement improvements

* Maintain safety and operational standards

* Adopt a flexible, proactive approach to support business growth

About You

We’re looking for someone with a strong engineering/manufacturing background who is ready to step into a leadership role:

* Hands-on experience in engineering or manufacturing

* Proven experience in production leadership, team supervision, or similar

* Exposure to planning and scheduling within a production environment

* Strong people management skills and the ability to lead by example

* Flexible, problem-solving mindset with ambition to progress into Production Manager
