Air conditioning Supervisor

Location: Based in the Home Counties / Hertfordshire ( some national travel when visiting engineers )
Salary: £45,000 £ 55,000
Hours: 40-hour week 8:30am 4:30pm (paid lunch included)
On-call: 1 in 6
Travel Time: Paid after first 30 minutes each side

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer Supervisor to join our team. You will be working across a varied client base of commercial sites.



The Role

This is a hands-on supervisory position, combining technical expertise with leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems
• Work on VRV/VRF systems, split systems, AHUs, and chillers
• Attend and manage sites including student accommodation, councils, offices, care homes and gyms
• Work closely with the Operations Manager
• Supervise and coordinate air conditioning technicians and daily site operations
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with health & safety regulations
• Carry out audits across the country with engineers
• Visiting the main office around 3 times a month
• Diagnose complex technical issues and support field engineers
• Manage tools, equipment, and stock inventory
• Carry out safety checks and enforce company procedures
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent service

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• FGAS certification (or equivalent)
• Minimum 8 years industry experience
• Full UK driving licence
