We are delighted to be recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher for a welcoming and progressive primary school in Milton Keynes. This full-time role, starting in January 2026, is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils through the next stage of their learning and helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
The RoleAs a KS2 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and creating an engaging learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged, and motivated to achieve their best.
Responsibilities- Curriculum Planning & Teaching:
Deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum, adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities. - Positive Learning Environment:
Establish clear expectations and routines that promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and a strong classroom culture. - Assessment & Progress Tracking:
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress effectively, using data to inform planning and provide targeted interventions where required. - Promoting Independence:
Encourage critical thinking, resilience, and independent learning, preparing pupils for the transition to secondary education. - Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues and support staff to share best practice, contribute to whole-school initiatives, and improve outcomes for all learners. - Parental Partnerships:
Build positive and effective relationships with parents and carers to support pupils learning and development. - Professional Engagement:
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- We are looking for a committed, reflective teacher who is enthusiastic about working with children in Key Stage 2.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
- A passion for developing confident, independent, and resilient learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement
