HGV Technician

Overview

We're recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join an established workshop in Blandford. This is a permanent role with strong pay, guaranteed daily overtime, and manufacturer-led training to keep you progressing in your career as a qualified HGV Technician.

Week 1:
Monday - Friday, 07:00 am - 05:00 pm

Week 2:
Monday - Friday, 08:00 am - 06:00 pm + Saturday, 08:00 am - 12:00 pm

Overtime: A minimum of 1.5 hours available daily, paid at time and a half

Base: £37,440 - £45,760 per year

With 10 hours overtime per month:
Up to £47,940 OTE

With 20 hours overtime per month:
Up to £50,120 OTE

With 30 hours overtime per month:
Up to £52,300 OTE

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs of HGVs as an experienced HGV Technician
• Fault finding and diagnostics using modern equipment
• Support with call-out and breakdown cover on a rota basis which can be discussed at interview to reach higher earning potential
• Maintain high workshop standards with a safety-first approach

• £18.00 - £22.00 per hour (DOE)
• Guaranteed daily overtime at time and a half
• 20 days holiday (rising to 25 with service)
• Manufacturer training provided for all HGV Technicians
• Call-out rota with extra earning potential

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Fitter
• Strong diagnostic and repair ability across a range of vehicles
• A proactive, reliable approach to work
