This is a full-time, hourly W2 position. We have immediate openings! Golden Peanut in Blakley, GA is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech who is willing to grow and advance with the company.

Schedule: Day Shift with on‑call rotation. Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts when on call.

Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 DOE

• Installing and maintaining machinery and equipment
• Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and pneumatic systems
• Repair, rebuild, and maintain mechanical drive systems
• Install material systems
• Fabrication
• Other duties and task as assigned

• Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience
• Minimum 1 year of welding experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Physical fitness to stand, sit, work in confined spaces and heights, bend, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime if needed
• Previous experience in welding, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems preferred
• Working knowledge of 3‑phase electrical
• Willing and able to take formal trade school courses as selected by management and on a continuing basis as required
• Positive attitude and team mindset
• Desire to learn various operations and grow with the company
• Commitment to safety – understanding and following all company safety procedures and proper PPE use
• Effective communication in English (verbal/written)
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age or older
• Excellent attendance record – on time, work when scheduled, and stay until shift ends
• Observant and able to address concerns that may arise
• Operating forklift experience is a plus (not required)
• Mechanical Aptitude is required
• Ability to work above ground level on grated flooring and climb stairs/ladders

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non‑exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

When hired, employees will be in an “at‑will” position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
