What Will I Be Doing?
  • Work in a team‑oriented and safety‑conscious environment. “Safety First” expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Vacuum waste and spilled product, water blast clean machines and areas, and lance clean lines and pipes. Must handle up to 10,000 psi water pressure flowing through the handheld cleaning equipment.
  • This position may require constant supervision and follow‑up.
  • Provide sanitation and cleaning assistance as needed for shoveling; snow removal; pesticide application; and general area clean‑up.
  • Assist in formulating standards / work procedures while performing those duties and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
  • Operate skid loaders, scissors lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, RTFL, and hand / power tools.
  • Communicate with supervisor and customer to accomplish assigned tasks and develop sound customer relations.
  • Maintain adherence to the published work schedule. Be available to work overtime as required, including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Work from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc., utilizing fall protection equipment when required. Must work in confined spaces, wear a respirator, fall protection equipment and other necessary PPE. Must handle awkward positions for long periods, stand for long periods, walk long distances, climb stairs.
  • Maintain communication with supervisor regarding unresolved work issues, personnel issues, and employee complaints. Evaluate a site for safety hazards and communicate with supervisor if the area is unsafe. Use company radio.
  • Maintain a consistent and good attendance record in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform other work as defined by company and/or customer.
  • Ensure compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Achieve performance expectations set forth in performance appraisals, including employee development planning.
  • Communicate with all team members to assist the development of short‑ and long‑range planning in assist of the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Meet physical requirements of the job. Physical requirements of the job will be provided prior to employment.
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Accurate and timely administrative duties, including, but not limited to, time sheets and work order completion.
  • Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    2 to 3 years of industrial cleaning experience desired but not required.
  • License:
    Must possess a valid driver’s license; may be required to possess a CDL license depending on local, state, and site requirements.
Physical Demands
  • The ability to observe details at close range.
  • Control precision – quickly and repeatedly adjust controls of a machine or vehicle to exact positions.
  • Manual dexterity – quickly grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) required.
  • Ability to move for extended or continuous periods.
  • Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
  • Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles safely.
  • Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.
  • Communication/Expression – ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
