Material Handler / Forklift Operator
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team in Blair, NE. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to work for a large manufacturing site. This person will work indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, and must be a self-starter and show initiative.
Rate: $21.63/hr + benefits offered, PTO, Holiday Pay
Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30-4:30 (first week will work 7-4:30)
What you need to qualify:- Valid Driver’s License required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in inventory management and shipping is preferred.
- Proficient in accurately counting and identifying shipments to match manifest contents; minimal technical knowledge required for part identification.
- Able to use a forklift to move parts in and out of the warehouse.
- Industrial experience is advantageous.
- Professional reference preferred
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and contractors to coordinate materials.
- Organize and distribute parts and equipment for projects.
- Review pick tickets daily for necessary maintenance materials.
- Manage all receiving, shipping, and kitting of materials.
- Organize MRO inventory shelves physically and in SAP for accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the MRP process by releasing PRs and suggesting data improvements.
- Execute various transactions in SAP, including handling goods.
- Maintain cleanliness in MRO areas by cleaning shelves and floors regularly.
