Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team in Blaine, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service in our fast-paced environment.

Starting wage is $15-20/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Supervise and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Manage inventory, including stock ordering and rotation
  • Process customer orders efficiently using point-of-sale systems
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing support
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving store performance
  • Prepare and analyze reports on sales, inventory, and team performance
  • Assist in scheduling and payroll management
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role in food service or retail
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in operating restaurant equipment and point-of-sale systems
  • Solid math skills for financial transactions and inventory management
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Computer skills for order processing and report generation
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Time management and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business or related field preferred
