Process Technician – Orbital Weld - 2nd Shift

Join the Data Solutions team as an Orbital Weld Process Technician, where you'll play a key role in setting up and maintaining orbital welding operations for high-performance liquid cooling systems. This position supports production flow, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Operate and maintain orbital welding equipment, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
* Execute T-Drill operations and manifold assembly, ensuring precise alignment, structural integrity, and fitment of all components according to technical specifications.
* Perform specified preventative maintenance procedures and assist Maintenance and outside sources with troubleshooting testing equipment.
* Support Quality Assurance by ensuring proper inspection protocols and compliance documentation are followed.
* Train new technicians on standard operating procedures and best practices.
* Participate in Lean and Kaizen activities to drive continuous process improvement.

* Qualifications:

*** Familiarity with orbital welding systems and precision measuring tools preferred.
* Proven experience with T-drill operations and complex manifold assembly is a strong plus.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
* Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a steadfast commitment to safety and quality.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with shifting priorities.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

** Pay Transparency
** nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

** Compensation Range:**$23.90 - $44.40 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
