Cleaning Room Production Supervisor

About the Role

Carley Foundry is looking for a hands‑on Cleaning Room Supervisor to lead our Cleaning Room, Benching, and Casting Finishing operations. This role is ideal for a strong floor leader who prioritizes safety, quality, and production performance in a manufacturing environment. 80% on the production floor | 20% administrative

• Supervise grinding, blasting, chipping, swing grinding, cut‑off, weld repair, and finishing operations
• Plan and assign work to meet production schedules and quality standards
• Drive scrap reduction, cost control, and continuous improvement
• Lead, train, and develop production employees
• Enforce safety, PPE, quality standards, and union agreement compliance
• Coordinate materials, tooling, and equipment maintenance
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams

One of the following required:

• 2+ years of college + 3 years manufacturing supervision
• High school diploma + 5 years manufacturing supervisor experience
• High school diploma + 5 years at Carley Foundry (1+ year group leader)

• Foundry or heavy manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills

• Physically demanding foundry setting
• Lift up to 60 lbs
• Extended standing and PPE use required

The anticipated annual salary range is $65,000 to $75,000, based on education, experience, & demonstrated skills.

2nd Shift- 2pm-10pm, 40‑45 hours
