Position SummaryThe Senior Accounting Manager will oversee the core accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient processes across the accounting team.
This role provides leadership across general ledger, A/R, A/P, and payroll functions, while also partnering closely with operations in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all general ledger activities, including month‑end and year‑end close
- Lead and develop teams responsible for A/R, A/P, and payroll
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Partner with operations and leadership on financial insights and process improvements
- Assist with audit coordination and compliance requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required)
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong background in general accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Experience overseeing full‑cycle accounting teams (GL, AR, AP, Payroll)
- Strong systems aptitude and process improvement mindset
- Leadership experience with a collaborative management style
- Direct exposure to and mentorship from a high‑caliber CFO
- Stable, experienced accounting team
- Hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
- Competitive compensation: $130K–$150K + bonus
