The Prince George's County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS) is currently seeking a Technology Assistant for an entry-level position. This position is dedicated to providing comprehensive assistance and guidance to customers regarding basic computer skills and fundamental technology usage.

• Assist customers with inquiries related to branch technology, including computers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Provide individualized or group software training sessions.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for printers and other branch equipment.
• Act as the on-site liaison for the IT department.
• Perform circulation duties and train new staff as required.

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years of desktop troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and general office equipment.
• Required bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Includes late shifts and rotating weekends. See the below example:

• A week:
  Mon 9:30-6pm;
  Tues & Wed 11:30-8pm;
  Thurs 9:30-6pm;
  Fri 9:30-6pm
• B week:
  Mon 9:30-6pm;
  Tues & Wed 11:30-8pm;
  Thurs 9:30-6pm;
  Sat 9-5pm
