Responsibilities

Support the highways design and project management team, contributing to the delivery of infrastructure schemes including junction and highway improvements, road safety schemes, safe routes, active travel, carparks and sustainable drainage.
Undertake design work, site supervision, contract administration, and stakeholder liaison. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

A relevant Level 4 or 5 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework. For example HNC or HND in Civil Engineering.

A working knowledge of construction related design standards, specifications and methods of measurement.

Relevant construction industry experience with a broad based knowledge of construction.

Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business/work purposes to travel throughout the borough to undertake inspections, contract supervision and attend meetings.
