Teaching Personnel is looking for committed and enthusiastic Entry Level Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Ystrad Mynach. This school supports children aged 3 to 19, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable working across all key stages. The school is deeply dedicated to offering high-quality learning experiences and actively involves pupils in shaping the school’s future direction.

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning to meet individual student needs.

Provide one-on-one and small group support during lessons and daily activities.

Promote students' academic progress as well as their social and emotional wellbeing.

Help maintain a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere.

Aid in the preparation and modification of educational materials.

Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and SEN specialists.

Requirements:

No formal qualifications required.

Enhanced Child and Adult DBS (Teaching Personnel can help you obtain this)

Safeguarding Level 2 (Teaching Personnel can help you obtain this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
