Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities under the direction of teaching staff.
• Lead whole-class teaching when required, including covering planned teacher absence.
• Support pupils by adapting learning materials and ensuring differentiated provision.
• Work with small groups and individuals to reinforce learning and support progress.
• Use a range of strategies to support pupils with additional learning needs, EAL, or behavioural needs.
• Assist in the assessment, recording, and tracking of pupils' achievement and progress.
• Provide feedback to pupils in line with school marking and assessment policies.
• Maintain high expectations for pupils' behaviour, promoting positive behaviour strategies.
• Set up, maintain, and organise learning resources and classroom environments.
• Supervise pupils during break times, lunchtimes, and on educational visits when required.
