Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to support electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in our manufacturing facility. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production and facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment in a manufacturing setting.

* Diagnose and correct electrical issues in production machinery, motors, conveyors, control panels, and automated systems.

* Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

* Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.

* Test electrical systems and continuity using various tools such as multimeters and megohmmeters.

* Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC).

* Collaborate with engineers and maintenance staff to support equipment upgrades and process improvements.

* Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.

* Follow all plant safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.

* State-issued Electrician License (Journeyman or Master Electrician) may be required depending on location.

* Minimum 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing electrician experience.

* Proficiency with AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, control systems, and industrial automation.

* Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.

* Lift up to 50 lbs.

* Work in various environments including hot, cold, dusty, or noisy areas.
