Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Virginia or compact state)

• BLS & ACLS certifications required

• At least 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience

• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

• Charge nurse experience is a plus

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the Telemetry/PCU unit

• Administer medications and manage IVs using Baxter IV pumps

• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and clinical support staff to deliver patient-centered care

• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed

• Assist with central line placement procedures and support procedural areas

• Foster a positive, supportive healthcare work environment
