• Prepares patients, collects relevant information for completion of procedures.
• Performs all CT procedures, Able to learn and/or perform MRI Exams
• Observant of patients' conditions.
• Practices and enforces radiation safety as described in federal standards, utilizing ALARA policy.
• Adheres to all appropriate hospital and regulatory policies and assists in maintaining accreditation.
• Understands and operates electronic information systems.
• Compiles appropriate records to expedite results.
• Administers contrast media as required.
• Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of CT and to meet the continuing education requirements of the ARRT.
• Takes call after regular hours as assigned.
• Maintains appropriate supplies.
• Assures primary area is clean and organized. Assists in other areas of the department when not needed in primary area. Performs clerical and transport duties as needed.

• EXPERIENCE
  
  Required:
  
  Experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Preferred:
  One year dedicated CT experience.
• EDUCATION
  
  Required:
  
  Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
  
  Required:
  
  ARRT registered.
  
  Required:
  
  CT Registry within 12 months of employment and BLS within 90 days of employment.
