As a Rad Tech Extern PRN, you will provide hands‑on imaging support, ensuring patients are prepared, positioned, and transported safely while maintaining a clean, efficient environment. You will communicate needs, support patient comfort, and participate in learning opportunities that foster professional growth.

• Prepare patients for imaging by obtaining histories, verifying identities, and assisting with positioning while communicating clearly and compassionately.
• Safely transport patients between imaging areas, supporting comfort and emotional needs during procedures.
• Set up imaging rooms, manage turnover, and organize supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
• Serve as a vital connection between patients, technologists, and the care team, communicating needs and concerns promptly.
• Take ownership of your growth by participating in learning opportunities and following safety and confidentiality standards.

• Less than 1 year of experience in a radiology setting.
• Current enrollment in an accredited radiology or radiologic technology program.
• BLS certification required.
