Offshore Manufacturing Engineer I
Moog Inc. – Blacksburg, VA (Onsite – Blacksburg, VA and other supplier sites internationally). The Offshore Manufacturing Engineer I reports to the Manager, Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities- Work and maintain confidential information.
- Work independently and be culturally aware to support global operations and collaborate with diverse teams and international clients.
- Support the Motor/Resolver production lines and outsource vendors.
- Oversee manufacturing process development with domestic and international teams.
- Review drawings, order and support manufacturing tooling, work instructions, labor standards, facility layout, quotes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and respond to RFPs for new orders.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical manufacturing design reviews and offer improvement suggestions for manufacturability.
- Enforce and follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements such as ITAR.
- Provide reports to management on daily, weekly and monthly performance, schedules, expenditures, and create capital requisitions.
- Support technical exchange discussions with suppliers and Moog.
- Cross‑train to help in other areas.
- A Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical field, or an associate degree with 3 years of related manufacturing experience.
- Experience with an electro‑mechanical or magnetic background is preferred.
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% or more internationally.
- Conversationally bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience communicating with internal and external customers, coworkers, and other business disciplines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with lean principles and Six Sigma.

Blacksburg, VA – $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors such as experience, performance, and location. The range is one component of Moog's total compensation package, which may include bonus, stock purchase plan, paid time off policy, and region‑specific benefits.
