Teaching assignments will be primarily in upper-level courses among our offerings in physical and analytical chemistry, including both lecture and laboratory courses, depending on departmental needs. The Department Chair will make specific course assignments each semester. Duties will include preparation of course materials, presentation of topics, coordination of GTAs, grading, assisting students individually, and other activities as may be required to accomplish the instructional function.
Required QualificationsPossession of a Ph.D. in chemistry or an appropriate related discipline at time of appointment. Experience in teaching at the collegiate level.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with teaching in a large university environment.
