Security Engineer

Overview

My client are seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Security Engineer to manage, develop, and drive forward our security services. The successful candidate will take a technical lead in shaping this part of the business, working closely with our management team to deliver and grow our offering.

• Installing, maintaining, and fault-finding on security systems, including:
  • Intruder alarms
  • Access control systems (Paxton and similar)
  • CCTV systems
  • Other integrated security solutions
• Leading security projects from start to finish
• Managing and mentoring junior engineers (as the team grows)
• Advising on best practices, compliance, and innovation in the security industry
• Helping to establish as a trusted provider in this specialist area

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Security Engineer, with strong technical expertise across intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
• Strong fault-finding, installation, and commissioning skills
• Ambition to take ownership and drive forward a new business division
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage projects independently
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a professional approach with clients
• Full UK driving licence
