. Just like Richard Carr‑Gomm, the founder of Abbeyfield Living Society, who dedicated his time to combating loneliness in older adults, you too can make a lasting impact. Over 60 years later, our mission thrives thanks to the hundreds of incredible volunteers who bring their unique skills and personalities to our houses and homes.
At Abbeyfield Living Society, our amazing volunteers are the heart of what we do. Without their dedication, many older people in our communities could feel isolated and alone. With your time, you can change that.
