About the Role:
The purpose of the role is to produce high quality products for customer orders, ready for dispatch
Key Tasks:
- The assembly of various (modular) Buildings, Housing and Shelter systems as well as a small range of recycling containers.
- Use of a variety of hand tools, equipment and associated jigs safely and effectively.
- Packing and labelling of goods in line with dispatch and customer requirements.
- Movement of stock and finished goods to support assembly operations and distribution.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment in line with 5S standards.
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety procedures and Company policies at all times.
Key Objectives:
- Ongoing familiarisation with the various products and systems being assembled.
- Maintain a high level of precision and quality in assembly work in line with Company standards.
- Adopt safe systems of work, including the correct use of PPE at all times.
- Achieve pre-determined productivity targets and deadlines.

Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- Practically minded and confident.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a small team.
- Ability to interpret sub-assembly drawings and related documentation
- Competent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Basic knowledge of IT.
Desirable:
- Previous joinery and/or product assembly experience.
- Knowledge of basic electrical installations.
- Willingness to undertake occasional On-Site Assembly (OSA) work.
Qualifications:
- CSCS Card Holder (preferable)
