What you will do:

• Conduct Urine Microscopy using the UF5000 analyser and perform manual culture reads, including reading of 24-hour culture plates on UTI chrome media.
• Perform 48-hour culture manual disk diffusion and MIC AST reading using templates and callipers.
• Troubleshoot general Urine Microscopy issues with expertise and precision.
• Carry out sputum manual culture reads, ensuring accurate reading of 24-hour culture primary plates.
• Execute 48-hour culture manual disk diffusion and MIC AST reading using advanced methods.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold HCPC registration and a relevant qualification in biomedical science, or an equivalent alternative qualification. Post-qualifying experience in the field of biomedical science is essential.
