Choice Teachers is recruiting confident graduates and aspiring teachers to work as Cover Supervisors across secondary schools in Blackpool. This role is ideal for those considering a future career in teaching and looking to gain valuable classroom experience before starting teacher training.

• Supervise whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 during short‑term teacher absences
• Deliver pre‑prepared lesson materials provided by the class teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Keep pupils on task and engaged in their learning
• Gain hands‑on experience working within a secondary school environment
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and behaviour
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times

• Graduates considering a career in teaching

• Those with experience working with young people (formal or informal settings)

• A degree (any subject) or relevant experience working with young people
• Confidence supervising groups of students independently
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach
• An up‑to‑date CV covering your full employment history (including any gaps)
• The right to work in the UKTwo professional references
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
