Position: Graduates Wanted - Start Your Career in Education (Temporary)
Are you a recent graduate considering a career in teaching or education?

Working in a secondary school is one of the best ways to gain hands-on classroom experience before committing to teacher training. We are currently supporting several schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast who are looking for graduates to join them in a variety of classroom-based roles.

Available Roles:

Cover Supervisor

Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Manage classroom behaviour and support learning
Ideal experience for those considering PGCE / teacher training

Teaching Assistant

Support students in lessons and small groups
Work closely with teachers to help pupils access learning
Great for developing classroom and behaviour management skills

Learning Support Mentor

Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils
Help students with engagement, confidence, and wellbeing
Particularly suited to graduates interested in SEND, pastoral care, or psycholog

Who We're Looking For

Recent graduates (any subject welcome)
A genuine interest in education and working with young people
Confident, reliable, and proactive individuals
Strong communication skills
Previous experience with children or young people is beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
