Primary Tutor

Our Primary Tutors play a vital role in supporting students who need extra help in core subjects. We understand that every learner’s journey is unique, which is why we offer flexible hours to fit around your schedule and the opportunity to make a genuine, lasting difference.

• Deliver one‑to‑one or small group lessons in Maths and English tailored to primary learning levels.
• Adapt lesson content and pace to suit different learning styles and abilities.
• Support students in developing subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence.
• Build a trusting and consistent rapport to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents/carers or professionals as needed.

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English at primary level.
• Experience working with learners in a 1:1 or small group setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.

• PGCE in Primary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
