Journeyman Electrician

Travel to U.S. locations 60%‑70% of the time. Travel expenses paid by company.

• Assist in shop fabricated equipment construction and field installation.
• Work with 480 VAC, 120 VAC, and LVLE electrical systems.
• Plan layout, install, and repair wiring, fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
• Read blueprints, prepare sketches, maintain documentation.
• Troubleshoot circuitry, recommend corrective action.
• Plan and install conduit run, pull, and terminate wiring.
• Wire motors, controls, lighting, switches, relays, panels, instrumentation, and other industrial complex needs.

• Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two‑to‑four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Licensed electrician in Idaho and capable of obtaining licenses in other states.
• Ability to teach and mentor apprentice electricians.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Physical demands: stand, lift up to 25‑50 lb, climb ladders, lift heavy metal pieces, work with arms overhead, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear. Overtime and travel may be required.
