PositionDay & Zimmermann is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our EPC Project in the nuclear power plant environment in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Responsibilities- Provide supervision, direction and oversight of subcontractors and any direct labor if applicable
- Assure that Quality activities for the company and suppliers are defined, planned, implemented and documented in accordance with client, company and government standards
- Coordinate Quality activities with suppliers, subcontractors and project organizations
- Coordinate activities to ensure that Quality Program and Project budgets, schedules and priorities are met
- Assist in the day to day operations of the corporation's Project programs. Participate in internal and external audits and perform project surveillances as needed
- Analytical ability to grasp key factors from detailed specifications
- Effective verbal communication and report writing skills
- Working knowledge of construction industry Codes and Standards
- Good leadership capabilities to lead quality initiatives to successful completion
- Basic knowledge of applicable software to compile quality process data. Familiar with the tools, concepts and methodologies of quality management
- College degree or equivalent experience
- 10 - 15 years Quality related experience
- Experience working under an ASME NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program
- Possible CQM certification in the future
In compliance with this state s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $95,000 - $171,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
