As required for GI-related inpatient consults and follow-up - Consults & Follow-Ups: GI consults supported by collaborative primary care and specialty teams
- Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas:
General Gastroenterology, endoscopy, colonoscopy, advanced procedures depending on skill set FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS - Beds in Department/Unit:
Critical Access Hospital with integrated outpatient GI services - Trauma Designation: N/A (CAH with established transfer pathways)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide full-spectrum Gastroenterology care in both outpatient and hospital-based environments
- Perform endoscopy, colonoscopy, and additional GI procedures based on training and clinical strengths
- Evaluate and manage GI-related conditions with support from nursing, anesthesia, surgery, and primary care teams
- Participate in program development, quality initiatives, and strategic service-line growth
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
