The Blackburn Diocese is looking for a passionate, committed Environmental Officer with a heart for creation care and the fifth Mark of Mission. If you’re a strong communicator who can empower parishes, champion environmental action, and share the call to care for God’s world, we’d love to hear from you.
In this rewarding volunteer role, you will:
- Be an advocate and champion for environmental issues
- Support parishes engaging with the Eco Church awards
- Contribute resources, training, and talks on creation care
- Work closely with clergy, lay leaders, and diocesan teams
- Build networks regionally and nationally within the Church of England
