Mechanical Maintenance Shift Engineer
Location: Blackburn
Salary: £44,500 per annum (Paid Weekly)
Shifts: Panama shift (Days and Nights)
Holidays: 34 days including Christmas shutdown

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment
• Supporting machine setting, including assisting with tool changes
• Carrying out preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Conducting quality checks on product output
• Working on process improvements and small projects
• Using your hydraulic systems experience to keep machines running smoothly
• Collaborating with a down-to-earth, supportive team

Modern Equipment & Exciting Upgrades:

The company has recently invested millions into brand-new machinery, with several installations already complete—and more on the way. You'll be working with modern, high-spec equipment and play a key role in commissioning and maintaining this new technology.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong mechanical background with proven maintenance experience
• Hydraulic systems expertise is essential
• Comfortable with a mix of maintenance and project-based work
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
