Position: Commercial Finance Analyst (Permanent)

Axon Moore have partnered with an exciting, high-growth business based in Blackburn in recruiting an ambitious, part qualified Finance Analyst who is able to hit the ground running taking on a pivotal role aiding the future growth strategy of the business.

The role involves acting as a business partner to the wider organisation by providing accurate financial information in order for the business to make operational and strategic decisions.

An ideal candidate will have previous experience working within an analytical role or be looking to move into a commercial role, have strong ability within Excel and also studying/looking to study their ACCA/CIMA qualification.

Graduates who have a degree in Finance and Accounting may also be considered for the position.

Key

Responsibilities and Duties:

Preparing monthly commercial performance results, monthly reporting and financial modelling
Assist in the forecasting for sales, gross margin, direct/overhead cost projection
Assist implementing new efficiencies around setting budgets for internal departments
Working with internal stakeholders to ensure profitability of products/services
Being a valued business partner to all areas of the company to help stakeholders understand performance and support business making decisions
Assist resolving customer queries whilst analysing any potential impacts on business
Required

Skills and Experience:

Recent graduate, AAT Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA and wanting to continue studies

Experience with in an analytical role or looking to move into a commercial position
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Well organised with good time management skills
Proactive and inquisitive mindset
Good IT and Microsoft Excel skills

Starting salary up to £35,000
37.5 hours per week
