Salary: Up to £70,000 (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded Finance Business Partner to play a fundamental role in supporting our Head Office functions. As the Finance Business Partner for all central functions, you’ll own the Head Office cost base, partnering closely with budget holders to deliver accurate forecasting, effective people‑cost management and insightful financial analysis. You’ll be confident in constructively challenging assumptions, influencing decision‑makers and driving cost efficiency across the organisation.

Your expertise will help shape strategic decisions, strengthen financial governance, and ensure complete cost transparency for senior leaders. To succeed, you’ll bring strong stakeholder management, analytical accuracy, and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights.

• Partner with Head Office leaders (HR, IT, Marketing, Finance, Property, Operations Support) to provide insight, challenge, and strategic financial support, ensuring full understanding of cost drivers and performance.
• Own and control the full Head Office cost base, driving cost visibility, optimisation, and efficiency while reviewing spending, challenging assumptions, and supporting procurement with contract reviews and supplier savings.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning for all Head Office functions, delivering accurate forecasts, variance analysis, and longer‑term cost modelling.
• Manage people’s costs, partnering with the People Team on headcount plans, pay reviews, scenarios, and organisational changes to ensure accurate workforce and financial planning.
• Oversee transfer pricing and cost allocation, ensuring transparent, consistent methodologies and clear insight into impacts across the business.
• Deliver high‑quality performance reporting, providing monthly cost insights, deep‑dive analysis, ROI reviews, and contributing to group‑level FP&A outputs.
• Strengthen financial governance and processes, improving forecasting accuracy, reporting, and analytics, while supporting automation and dashboard development (e.g., Power BI).
• Support wider FP&A activities, including monthly reporting, business cases, and strategic initiatives.

• A qualified Finance professional;
  Chartered Accountant preferred with solid experience partnering across Head Office or central support functions.
• Strong track record in forecasting complex costs and translating data into insight, with the commercial confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical ability, including advanced Excel and strong financial modelling skills and experience with transfer pricing, cost allocation models, and supporting multi‑site or multi‑functional environments.
• Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI and a passion for improving reporting, dashboards, and data‑driven decision making.
