Finance Business Partner Temporary

Position: Finance Business Partner (Contract, Temporary)
Ascent Recruitment is pleased to be exclusively partnering with a leading Blackburn-based business in the search for a Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of the role becoming permanent.

This role will support operations teams and senior stakeholders, delivering accurate financial reports, forecasts, and insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce and manage clear financial and management reports, including variance and cost analysis.

* Challenge and support financial performance, identifying exceptions and driving improvements.

* Prepare and review financial reports.

* Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and complete accurate reconciliations.

* Promote and improve financial processes to help managers drive performance.

* Lead robust forecasting, budgeting, and support business planning.

* Partner with non-financial senior stakeholders and teams to improve reporting understanding.

* Identify and assess risk in line with policies and controls.

Requirements:

* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)

* Strong background in management accounts and business partnering.

* Skilled in financial reporting and Excel.

* Resilient under pressure and focused on continuous improvement.

Salary and Key Benefits:

* £55,000-£60,000

* 10% Bonus

* Hybrid working

* 25 days, plus bank
