North West Logistics Ltd is a well-established UK logistics and warehousing business, providing transport, palletised distribution, and warehousing solutions to a broad customer base across the UK and Europe.

We’re now looking to recruit a hands‑on Management Accountant to join our finance team and work closely with the Finance Director, supporting the continued growth of the business.

This is a broad, SME‑style Management Accountant position with real ownership and visibility.

You’ll be responsible for producing timely, accurate management information while supporting operational and commercial decision‑making across the business.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting, and overhead control
• Cashflow forecasting and daily banking
• Weekly supplier payment runs
• Credit control oversight and working capital management
• Supporting operational cost and margin analysis
• Supporting the year‑end audit and statutory accounts process
• Helping to improve financial controls, processes, and reporting

• Qualified or part‑qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong management accounting and month‑end experience
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced SME environment
• Commercially minded and able to work closely with non‑finance teams
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain is beneficial but not essential.
